Questions...

There are certain questions in our mind or life that can’t be answered at present times... Questions that we may know the answer now but believe there are different answers to it that only time can tell... I myself have a lot of questions to ask when I enter the gates of heaven... (Hoping I’ll be able to reach that level ;)) As I enter the gate and asked if I am worthy I may also ask a couple of only God knows the true story/answer behind… Admit it, there are questions in life that we may not have the guts to ask, or given we may not be able to have the guts to answer… there are questions that we may avoid to ask/answer for we may not be ready or other people may not be ready to answer… Me, I know I’ll have those answers with God… for I want the honest truth when I asked them… only it’s too late to go back but at least before I e

nter the gates I know the true story of everything that happened to my life… I know a lot of people may not understand me for I’ve done things to guard other people, or to shelter them from pain… the answer when I loved I really love… and that could only be the shortest answer to all… ;)

How bout do, do you have questions left unanswered? Sooner it will be answered, if not now or at least in your next lifetime… just make sure your enjoying your life while waiting … another mystery to unveil ;)

You've Got Mail

Watching this movie now... one of my faves...

For certain reasons I could relate to Meg Ryan.. she loves books, love to talk, positive about life, love kids, what else... ;)

Love the idea of having to talk to someone through mail and discuss everything without any reservations with the same interest and intellect as you are.. no judgement, no anything for you don't know each other ...

Guess I have to find someone who could mail me with idea about his/her life ...

The day when I started to walk

It took me sometime, a lot of book reading, a lot of movie watching and whole lot of prayers and constantly communicating to our God to get to where I am now.  Positivity, peace and love are what I long now. I may not be as rich as I what I wanted to be… but I believe I’m at peace now with myself and with a lot of factors and people in my life…

It all started with my relationship with clouds... For quite some time now I’ve been posting pictures of clouds n in my instagram account... Weird as what people will see it, but I love staring at clouds. How peaceful they are and how their white color loaded the sky with weird shapes as if they don’t care being there. ;) Day after day I keep on staring at clouds for I believe they are formed to be there for valid reasons. After each day I tend to appreciate things below, the trees below each cloud, mountains, buildings, cars and all. Truly I’m an appreciative person, but I become more after that exercise. 

I came to realize that we have a lot of reasons to thank God for.  That our world doesn’t just center into our petty concerns but we are just a small entity of the world. That they are a lot of things in the world that needs the same way we need, who needs appreciation more than us humans.

That realization help me a lot that living is not just about making money, it’s not about catching deadlines, making your client satisfied, paying bills, doing your task and others.  It’s about living with appreciating... Its living knowing that no matter how hard you run, there are just certain things that you can’t catch up to , there are things that we just have to live and take.

Running in UPLB has been a routine to me. Sometimes I run with my love, sometimes I just do my work out in the field… truly I appreciate the beauty of nature while working but one day, I did not run, nor did I work,  I just walk  and take some pictures in the routine place I’m visiting weekly.  Walking as if I don’t worry about the time, people waiting, and messages in my phone (Believe me its liberating to leave your phone once in a while). Taking pictures of what I find beauty in my eyes.  After that walked, I never appreciate the place same way that I did in that day, and loving what I’m doing that gives me peace in my heart and smile at my face.  Excited to do that again next time... hopefully I’ll get to do that with someone or another place that I frequently visiting but not appreciating…

MY GRAVITY

Gravity … as the definition itself...  seriousness...  importance...  solemnity… force that attracts bodies towards the centre of the earth….

For the longest time I believe I wasn’t centered...  Presently living in a world of business, rules, laws and other stuff...  I found myself looking for the center... It has been years since I turn back from loving & fighting for learning the arts and I never would have thought that I could come back… giving emphasis, importance and seriousness to I believe that gives me solemnity … to something that gives me balance.. And now I’m coming back with high hopes and eagerness to learn more as I enroll myself in learning my 1^st love and passion... The arts... The one that I called my...

GRAVITY

As they say... there’s no age in learning... there’s any age in learning fashion... there’s no age in learning styling...

The next pages is my attempt to summarize what I learn from our dear instructor... adapting everything that I can and can’t imagine… it wasn't the 1^st time that I organized a shoot.. done it a lot of times… but I believe this one is different for it’s a product of 18 sessions of travel, learning, discovering, researching, adjusting, sacrificing, laughter and surprisingly friendship…

Hope everyone who reads it will enjoy it the same way that I enjoyed making, conceptualizing and surviving the 18 sessions…

Behind the scenes – Pre Nup Shoots

One of the perks of being an Events Coordinator (although some don’t consider it) is you got to travel most of the time. One thing that I enjoyed doing (although majority doesn’t do it or don’t feel the need to do it cause photographers can do it alone) is accompanying my client in their pre nup shoots. I know is not part of the job or some even considering it as a waste of time and money, but for me it’s one of the most memorable part of coordinating your client. Why? Here are a few personal reasons…

1^st… it’s the time when you got to know your client in a deeper level. It’s a perfect time to ask your clients regarding their love story, not feeling like a reporter interviewing them in a coffee shop.  Answers come naturally, surprisingly honest and detailed.  It’s the time you got to see them eat heavily, smile/laugh with stories and just being themselves naturally.

2^nd… Establishing your connections with your client is one of the hardest things to do. Although I’m a commitment kind of woman and It’s not difficult for me opening myself to anybody, but clients particularly brides are different in some cases.  It’s a perfect time you got to bond with your bride and feel comfortably open about anything.  It’s a perfect way for your bride to trust you that all you want are for them to be pretty and their Nuptial to be fab. I love dressing and styling my bride ( haven’t I mention I’m a frustrated stylist ;)) for it made me feel happy that they trust me enough to follow what I think will look good at them and for the shoot.

3^rd. Pre Nup pic is the 1^st step for guests to see what they’re going to expect in the nuptial so getting there and being involved in everything makes you feel in control of everything.  Details and sometimes ideas flash into your minds while seeing the couple moved and do stuff.

4^th It’s also time of the day that you got to bond with the suppliers before the big day.  It’s the time you got to talk to the photographers and brainstorm on whatever ideas they have in the wedding, bond with the designer and makeup artist and think about what looks good in the bride, and share ideas and experiences with them in an informal way.

5^th Believe me before the day ends you got to learn something new, experience something different, and get to know a few interesting people and places. I'm hands on in everything everything including pre nups, photographers sometimes allow me to brainstorm with them regarding theme:look and all, I choose places, chooses wardrobe, style the couple, secures permits, make a timeline, arrange accommodations and all.  Learning is a never ending process so don’t confide yourself in the four corners of a coffee shop… explore more, learn more, and live more.. ;)

Reyes & Jumawan Nuptial

They say that it is indeed difficult to organize an event of a relative for the pressure to make it organize, lively and beautiful is 100 percent times than your usual client. I felt that with my sister getting married.  No theme was used for she’s not into themes and has always been simple in all aspects of life. Certain colors were chosen as a theme, and look is just picked. What was certain is it has to look like a garden (that's why later I used Country Garden as a theme ;)) in the church and in the reception, pastel colors was used, and an ambiance of laid back reception and program for guests/relatives to enjoy… a few are some pics..
